Nowadays, cities are composed of a great bunch of broken jigsaws, squeezing the city. The urban development running counter to the residents, is no longer keep the relationship between residence and the outside. And we no longer care about the roads back to home after school, the alley we passed through, and memories of hometown that keep appearing in mind.
The relationship between residential and city is like a black box, we can’t know anything inside the box, back of the same elevation of the apartments, people’s living way connect every units. Divide all the spaces into black-public and white-private, overturn the space color, try to make them more fix. We won’t lost direction when we stay in the city, living in room still have connection with the city. The house is looking through the lights of the window, and for us, whether we are looking at the whence of the pas, or maybe, the future.
