Brief Intro
I was born in 1958 in Taipei and graduated from Tunghai University in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. With years’ working experience, I went to Europe in 1989 and attended Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, where I received my master degree. As a graduate student in architecture, I traveled extensively on the continent, exploring numerous cities, visiting several masterpiece of Historical and modern architecture. It was such a thorough immersion in the exquisiteness of works of art that I was profoundly inspired. Since 1994, nearly two years after I returned Taiwan, I have been teaching at Dept. of Architecture at Tamkang University. The courses I teach include [Architectural Design]、[History of Architecture]、[Case Studies in Architecture]; “Dutch Structuralism” and “Architecture Typology” are my specialties. While lecturing at University, I have never stopped being a designer myself and have completed over thirty four pieces of work so far.
