Flexible Education System

In the academic development plan for academic years 112-116, under the theme "Cross-Domain Learning and Multifaceted Expertise," as well as in the second phase of higher education enhancement plan 1-1-3, titled "Cross-Domain and Multifaceted Flexible Exploration," a flexible learning system and cross-domain learning have been established:

1.Under the existing system of double majors and minors, each department has designed minor and second major courses.

2.Starting from the freshman class of the 112th academic year, students can choose courses from other departments as minors within the 157 credits required for graduation. Starting from the freshman class of the 114th academic year, students can complete a second major or second minor with a maximum of 10 credits beyond the 157-credit requirement.

Minor Course Design

The department's minor course design covers six major areas: Architecture and Urban Design, Community and Rural Development, Sustainability and Smart Buildings, Construction and Real Building, Digital Design and Manufacturing, and Architectural History and Theory. In addition to developing a second expertise, students can integrate their acquired knowledge with their original major, thereby enhancing their competitiveness.
