The Architecture School at Tamkang University started at 1964 is one of the most advancing school at Taiwan where professionals, architect, planner, urban designer and interior designer, are trained. 
The school has been a strong influence on the new architectural movement at Taiwan. 
The number of undergraduate students is 300, post graduate 70, Ph.D.students 10,academic staff 19 and part-time staff 54.

History
The undergraduate program was established in 1964, the master's program in 1981, and the Ph. D. program in 2004.

Goals
We believe that architecture is about knowledge that furthers the understanding and improvement of the relationship between people and the environment.

Courses
We continually revise the courses in order to adapt to the speedy change of the society.

Faculty
There are 19 full-time faculty, 2 visiting professors and 54 part-time faculty.

Facilities
The facilities include a library, a carpenter's workshop, the computer lab., the CAE classroom, and a hemisphere daylight simulation lab.
