Elementary school, as a learning place, symbolizes a six-year journey on a macroscale. Cognitions of objects and courses change with age. Specifically, children are capable of discovering their own universe in early life stage by daily exploring. The architect Hibino Taku says, " Adults should give children some space and observe what they truly interest in ; adults should know children`s strengths and weaknesses in order to provide them opportunities of experiencing even it will end up hurting the children." In addition to solve the problems in Nan Ji Chang, I hope that the co-construction with MRT and welfare agencies can bring more vitalities and potentials to the community.

The views of open spaces between buildings around the site create an axis which runs through the school and welfare center. Activities occur along the axis which is surrounded by the traffic flow of playgrounds The elements, captured from students'daily activities, build and mark where the activities occur. Students' activies are constructed, when placing these elements in the site.

Grade1&2,kindergarten: Ground floor to commune with nature. Grade3&4:Public reading and discussing space. Grade5&6:Roof Garden/Farm to add the variety of teaching and life experience. Notice from section that I Use the public open spaces to connect all teaching area.
